Git Dashboard is a lightweight OS X application (and accompanying
Dashboard widget) for keeping track of multiple local git repositories. It is not intended to be a git client - you cannot use it to commit, push, pull, etc. I recommend GitX (or the more fully-featured brotherboard/gitx fork) for that.

Features:
List repository name, dirty status, number of dirty and/or untracked files, date of last commit, and path.
Recursively scan a directory for repositories.
Open selected repositories in GitX, Terminal, or Finder.
